A little History Lesson on these “fun” scooters:  Originally 50 were built for the US Army Paratroopers for transportation when they hit the ground.  Never used by the US Army.  Manufactured as a consumer item in 1946 and sold through Gambles Store for $119.95!!!  The name came from the fact that Colonel Jimmy Doolittle was given the first two.  The original manufacturer took the Doolittle name and used it to come up with “Doodle Bug”!

FUN FACT:  THERE IS A DOODLE BUG CLUB!!!  JOIN THE FUN!
